Wandering Feet

Kolkata. West Bengal.

Some things changed,
Some things did not.

That which changed did not change everything.
That which did not change stopped nothing from changing.

Things meant to change did not.
Things meant to remain the same, changed.

In the lull between the push and the pull my eyes rested,
Suspended in the momentary equilibrium of my wandering feet.

Very well put! (And we all know, don't we, that the more things change, the more they stay the same anyway!). ;-)

May the New Year bring you everything you wish for,
with warmest regards,

Changes are inevitable. But which way, that is the question.
You said it right. Many fall victims to this kind of change.
