It is good to see your photo and learn about Navratri and, with some googling, to learn there is another similar festival celebrated by ethnic Chinese in several countries, and to learn of annapoorna devi, the one who bestows grains.
Some time ago, in response to something you wrote about toys, I mentioned a wooden toy from China that was given by a Christian missionary to my father when he was a boy growing up in Minnesota sometime in the 1920s. You expressed interest in knowing more about that toy, but after I had mentioned it to you, I couldn't find it. I have since found it and made this video of a carved wooden figure utilizing a grain huller:
